Yesterday we made our way along the south side of Ono island and across the channel again. We stayed the night at Albert's Sunrise and it poured! It was raining so heavy that some of the guys were showering under the runoff from the roof. So heavy and loud. Today we headed along the south coast of Kadavu with a goal of stopping at Ratu's for lunch and then on to Matava. As we came across the last stretch to Ratu's place it started to downpour. Through the rain Ratu's house looked sooooo far away. We're out in the middle of this bay and it's just dumping on us. But... I had my big 'ol wide brimmed Tilley hat on and it felt like I was inside. Awesome things those Tilley hats. After lunch at Ratu's we headed back out after the rain and made it to Matava. Matava is so nice and feels like you're back to civlization. Went over to Waya island and found this beetle up in a tree.
