Spring Break? It still feels like winter out there. They wanted to see the feasibility of a more permanent rink that might be built in the city. The first day the rink never opened because of a mechanical problem. No ice = mechanical problem. A group of us were supposed to meet after dinner and have a skate. Since it wasn&#8217;t open, everybody just got sloshed at the nearby restaurants. Eventually they got everything figured out and they played a lot of 90&#8217;s pop as you can see here. Which adds to the comedy of Wellington Kiwis who can&#8217;t ice skate. Our one day off and we can&#8217;t go skating.
