Friday night at Hollywood Park was Sony day at the races and I finally got to prove good ol’ Monica wrong. See the previous horse racing post [LINK<\/a>]. I bet “$5 to win” and actually won for once. A group of us were invited down to watch the the #5 “Sony” race from the fence and go to the winners circle. It was a $50k purse and I put my money on #6. Winner! My first and last bet of the night. I love to win, it just never happens so I’m gloating. How much did I win? 5 bucks. I didn’t know the horse had 1-1 odds, I just liked the name. That about covered the cost of parking and gas. And the winner is… me.<\/p>\n
