Spent the day being a tourist with Shine and Jill today before hitting the Flaming Lips show. sonicliving.com was having a little pre-show get together at Jade Bar by City Hall. I called up fellow Flickrer and website friend Willo, of willotoons.com, and she was also headed over to the bar. So I dragged Shine and Jill along and was able to chat with Willo and her gang of show ho’s for a bit. Then we got all hungry and walked about 5 huge city blocks to Blondies Pizza for some pre show cheap eats. That made us run a bit late so we missed Cat Power. Got there in time to see Gnarls Barkley though. Hmmm… dunno they’re such a fad. There’s just no real sincerity there. Sorry, move along guys.<\/p>\n

The Flaming Lips were amazing. It was very balloony. Really do love that band. The video is totally unedited, because it’s for me anyway, and I want to see it all.
