Canadian Grafitti

Yur lis’nin to See Jay Oh Arr AM 600.

Occasionally i have to make my way down to Richmond. Where? Yeah, exactly. It’s in the out in the middle of nowhere part of Richmond. There’s an old radio station transmitter out there for CJOR which was in operation from 1926 to 1988. It just sits now. It always reminds me of the film American Grafitti. One of my favorite scenes is when Richard Dreyfuss goes to a small radio station outside of town to get the “Wolfman”, Wolfman Jack, to dedicate a song to the mystery girl. Amazing scene. I love the random ice cream bit and of course twist at the end where Dreyfuss sees he’s been lied to.
