A Drive Around Los Angeles
by chris cunningham
1874 frame loop around Hollywood. Shot on my 20D. 1/4 sec. exposures every second. My camera got loose on a turn at one point. Life is full of flaws. A little Sadies tune for the ride. Really, I’m just biding time before I leave…

Wait, what? You’re not bailing on me too, are you? Following Matt to Washington or something?
Matt’s moving to Washington? News to me. Someday he’s going to be riding motorcycles in a round cage for a traveling circus and I won’t be the least bit surprised.
leave? where are you going this time?
Oh Chris that’s a great little film.
Where are you going? How about London ;)
Hey Liza, thanks! Ya gotta try something with your Canon. I’ve been meaning to send you to this site… [20D Timelapse]. The 720p is really amazing. Funny also is it looks like they recently posted a driving video. Damn them.
Alas, I’m not coming to London, but I do expect a certain local guide on my next visit… :P
I’m already in Hong Kong choking on the insane amount of pollution. Ack! Who knew air came in chunky flavor? Pics soon.
wow. you sir, are something of a gadabout!
funny. I was thinking about this timelapse thing and picked up a cable release with a timer in it at lunchtime this week (*damn* the camera shop opposite work) am thinking of doing something for a start with the city construction stuff from the 10th floor.
(yep – london, liverpool, large chunks of the north-west and bits of leeds guide at your service.)
Haha, this is awesome! You should submit some of these films to film festivals. Enjoy the chunks of air in Hong Kong! Too bad you didn’t have this camera when I sat across from you at work. I bet I could have starred in an amazing timelapse video, to show the kids how movie magic is made! Wheeeeee!
I have a set of timelapses from Hong Kong I have to put together. A couple of good shots and quite a few boring ones.
@Guru… If what you’re doing is magic then we’ve got problems. Heh
