Circus Of The Sun/Cirque du Soleil

Just when I think I’m over the whole “Cirque du Soleil” [LINK] thing, that it’s just some expensive fake new age music cultural event, I go again and it blows my mind. It never ceases to amaze. Tonight was “Varekai” [LINK] in downtown L.A.. They moved it from Santa Monica to the Staples Center a few years ago. So many things in life you can say, “I can do this”, or, “I can do that”. That’s what I like about Cirque du Soleil. There’s not a single thing in those shows I could possibly do. Well, maaaaybe the clown stuff. The seats were dead center and right by the sound board. If I was to pick a seat to sit in, it would have been these. I’m glad Cirque du Soleil exists. No animals either, and that’s a good thing. I still probably like “Quidam” the best. But that was my first.
