Spent the day being a tourist with Shine and Jill today before hitting the Flaming Lips show. sonicliving.com was having a little pre-show get together at Jade Bar by City Hall. I called up fellow Flickrer and website friend Willo, of willotoons.com, and she was also headed over to the bar. So I dragged Shine and Jill along and was able to chat with Willo and her gang of show ho’s for a bit. Then we got all hungry and walked about 5 huge city blocks to Blondies Pizza for some pre show cheap eats. That made us run a bit late so we missed Cat Power. Got there in time to see Gnarls Barkley though. Hmmm… dunno they’re such a fad. There’s just no real sincerity there. Sorry, move along guys.

The Flaming Lips were amazing. It was very balloony. Really do love that band. The video is totally unedited, because it’s for me anyway, and I want to see it all. Pffftttt… I could watch this video all day. People around were all yelling “put it on youtube, put it on youtube!” I’ll get around to it.
