Ok, I’m going to try and type this on the bompiest plane ride eer.
Brought my passport and all was good. I read all sorts of things about booking your ferry trip back because they fill up on the weekends.
In case you didn’t know, Sha Tin Wai is not the same as Wong Tai Sin…. But that’s only $4.50 US. Which in turn makes the ferry to Kowloon only .21 cents. That’s all, off to Macau.

I didn’t go in to Hong Kong today and stayed on Lantau which was just incredible…. They’re all starting to look the same and worldwide they all have the same shops anyway.
Hit an oceanarium thing today called Ocean Park. The weather outside was a total fright.
I got up and looked into the ferry from Lantau to Hong Kong…. Grabbed and funny little sandwich in the terminal and hopped aboard.
I arrived tonight in Hong Kong at about 6pm after a grueling 15 1/2 hour flight…. I checked on Cathay Pacific’s safety rating and it ranks right up there with Qantas.
Hong Kong? Yeah, why not?
1874 frame loop around Hollywood. Shot on my 20D. 1/4 sec. exposures every second. My camera got loose on a turn at one point. Life is full of flaws. A little Sadies tune for the ride. Really, I’m just biding time before I leave… [A DRIVE AROUND L.A. VIDEO]
[DIA DE LOS MUERTOS PHOTO GALLERY] How’d a cemetery become the cool place to hang out in L.A. They’re reinventing the cemetery experience over there at Hollywood Forever. Movies, festivals, actual burials. It’s crazy! Anyway, the Day of the Dead Festival the weekend before the actual event is totally amazing! And really beautiful when the […]
West Los Angeles, Brentwood, Westwood, & Sunset Blvd. One of the most amazing sights is flying into Los Angeles on a crystal clear night. So many times I’ve been coming into land and as soon as they turn the lights off inside the plane it gets dead silent. Everybody that has a window seat has […]
I’ve been so stinking busy at work that all things personal have come to a halt. Even hygeine (Hi Gene!) took a turn towards homelessness this past week. I wore shorts to work one day and everybody asked why, and I said it’s the only clean thing lying on the floor. The clue being that […]
MUSIC: The Oct. 10th DVD release of Neko Case’s peformance on Austin City Limits from 2003. I’m going to play it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and […]
Went to the cemetery because I was kinda bored, it was nice out, and I always wanted to check out the Hollywood Forever Cemetery during the day. So what the hell. I’ve only been there for the movie screenings at night. I like that every headstone has a story. Even if you don’t know it. […]
[FANTASTIC FLAMING FIRE FEST VIDEO] Three things to do this weekend. One of my roomates from college was having a birthday thingy on Saturday afternoon, Saturday night was FireFest. Then on Sunday was hang out time with Keith and Shelli and go into the city to Jens for a little birthday feast for a friend […]
Man, the last two days have been like an episode of The Amazing Race. I thought this morning was going to be a breeze getting to the airport. The airport is supposed to be 15 minutes away by train. Flight’s at 9:55, but Jill thought it was 9:30. Not sure where she’s getting these numbers […]
Today was just problem after problem but all got resolved and a gay angel was hoping to get his wings.
